  • What is the WHOLE PROCESS for Sending the Art to Space?
    Check the Main Topics and the dates. Click on the Main Topic to know the Sub-topics in detail. Select your favorite Sub-Topic. Take an A4 size paper Please write your name and details at the backside of the A4 sheet without disturbing the artwork. Start the Art, to finish it at the earliest. If needed take help of parents, friends. Finish your Art work. Scan it Properly Submit the form which will be available within the Topic. Pay the Fees of Rs. 1000 You will receive a confirmation with Boarding Pass Post the Art Work to SpaceCultural Center, AnanthaP Research Private Limited, P.O Box 1369, Sub-Post Office - Humayun Nagar, Humayunnagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, 500028 Your art work will be also selected for the competition where you can receive prizes like Telescopes, etc Your art might be posted on the gallery of the website for sale and you might receive your money back if someone purchases it.   • What types of drawings are accepted for space submissions?
    We accept a variety of art work related to the Topics and Sub-Topics. Anything out of the box is also welcome, but related to the topics please in Single Side of A4 Size paper
  • Is there an age limit for participants in the space drawing submissions?
    No, there is no age limit. Space enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to submit their drawings.
  • How many Arts can one person submit?
    There is no limit on them. Participants are generally allowed to submit multiple drawings in various topics and sub-topics. You can send multiple Art work. However please note, only one art work per submission. If you want to send more, please submit the form again.
  • What if we send 5000 art work from a particular school?
    The school will be getting surprise gift, useful scientifically for the children, along with a certificate and some good training courses from the sponsors.
  • We are a school and want to send the work in consolidated form?
    We prefer that the art work is submitted individually by the students' parents/guardians. However we strongly encourage the schools to also help people in need. Every online submission has to be done individually. On the otherhand, postage of the art work as per the deadlines can be consolidated and sent through post to the designated address.   • I am from USA, Can I still submit the art work?
    Absolutely, anyone from any part of the world can submit the art work to send it to space. However, do not forget to send the artwork physically to the designated address to be considered for the competition and to win prizes.   • Will the submitted drawings be displayed publicly or used for any other purposes?
    We are planning to have multiple events for the same, where everyone will be informed well in advance. An online gallery will be placed with thumbnails, where the art work will be put on sale.
  • Can I submit a drawing that has been previously published or exhibited?
    We strongly encourage you to go though the sub-topics rather than using a previous drawing. Please note that the copyright of the art should be yours for the Competition.
  • Is there a deadline for space drawing submissions?
    Every topic has a specific deadline, please look at the webpage for the key dates.
  • Do I get a certificate?
    Absolutely, initially every submission will be receiving a boarding pass. Subsequently after successful launch into space, digital certificates shall be sent along with the picture of the launch vehicle and the payloads sent. However all certificates can also be collected during the exhibition event which is being planned.
  • I am a Minor. Can I submit my drawing?
    There is an option, Your parents/guardians can submit on your behalf. Donot forget to put your name in form and not your parents/guardians name.
  • Can I take the help of others for the drawing?
    Absolutely, feel free to take the help of parents, guardians. However, the aim here is to bring out your imagination by providing you with tiny bits to enable you to think.
  • After sending to space, would my drawing be returned back to me?
    Unfortunately No. They are all planned to be preserved in the Art Gallery.
  • What if the Launch Fails?
    As we have the digital version, we are going to make the payload with the art work and Subsequent attempts will be made with the same launch vehicle or rocket.
  • Is my drawing going to be sent or a copy of it?
    A copy of your artwork is going to be printed on special paper, hermitically sealed and packed in a vacuum stable container and then sent to space after rigorous testing.
  • Should i draw on a special art paper?
    Please feel free to draw on any A4 sized paper. Use only single side for your art work. Please write your name as per the submitted form on the backside.
  • When is it going to be launched?
    As it is India's first Private Orbital Launch, a lot of rigorous testing is involved. However due to confidentiality rules and agreements, we cannot disclose the exact details of the launch vehicle and the launch dates. However, it is planned to be launched this year. Intimation about the launch of the art work will be given to you well in advance.
  • On which Launch Vehicle will the art be sent?
    You will be hearing from us about the same.
  • Is this art creating space debris?
    No, this art is not creating debris, as it is not being ejected into the space. As per the international norms, it will stay in orbit and subsequently, will renter the earths atmosphere, burning up on re-entry
  • How to confirm my drawing has been received in physical form?
    You will receive another confirmation that your physical drawing has been received and that you are part of the competition for the prize as soon as the Topic is closed.
  • Are there any size or format restrictions for submitted drawings?
    SENDING to SPACE: Drawings should be submitted in a digital scanned format (JPEG, JPG, PNG, TIFF, etc.) and not exceed the specified file size to ensure easy processing for Sending it to Space. Please ensure that the scanning is properly done.   • Can I submit traditional hand-drawn art, or is it limited to digital drawings?
    For Sending the Art to Space: Any Art work as long as it fits the Topics qualifies for the Art2Space and will be sent to space. Please note it has to be on A4 size. For the Competition to win Prizes: Only hand-drawn art work is qualified for the competition. Digital drawings are not accepted for the competition.
  • Are there specific themes or topics you're looking for in the space drawings?
    Submissions can cover a broad range of space-related, imaginative, futuristic, scenarios, adhering to the sub-topics or nearby the sub-topics but within the broad topic. The images in Subtopics are only examples, which whought give you more ideas.
  • Should i write my details on the Art work?
    PLEASE DO NOT WRITE YOUR NAME ON THE ART WORK AREA. Please write your name and details at the backside of the A4 sheet without disturbing the artwork.
  • I want to draw myself and send it to space. Can I?
    Absolutely, the sub-topics are tailored to bring out your imagination, please feel free to draw yourself in a particular sub-topic and follow the process.
  • Can I track my drawing?
    We will be provide you with a link to track the artwork on webpage/ mobile app.
  • Do I get a confirmation after I submit the drawing?
    Indeed after submitting the art work, you will be getting an email confirmation with a boarding pass. After receipt of the art work physically, you will also get another confirmation that your art work will be part of the competition.
